They were a group of Neo-transcendentalists, a movement that began after the [[Third World War]] in which there was a desire to return to a simpler way of life. Most of the Bringloidi were of Irish descent from [[Earth]], and worked at occupations that helped the colony survive over the years.<br /> <br /> In 2365, they were forced to call for help when their sun&#039;s flare activity threatened the planet.
