Canopus system

The Canopus system (or Alpha Carinae system) is a star system located around 310 light years from the Sol system, and lies in the Beta Quadrant and contains at least three inhabited planets, out of a minimum of five in total. Geologist Carstairs of the USS Enterprise once served aboard a Merchant Marines freighter in this area.
