Reinforced duranium hull armour is the standard hull plating on vessels of the Klingon Defence Force. It consists of the same duranium plating as is found on a standard Federation vessel, reinforced in all areas with a secondary layer of bulkhead armour, with a layer of ablative armour sandwiched between the two, providing extremely heavy protection from fire.
