Description
The Gryphon Class is able to mount three weapons pods on the fighter. These pods are detailed below and turn the Raptor from a Fighter into a Light Bomber:
1: Light Bomber: Micro Tri-Cobalt launcher pod, 8 warheads, has a negative effect on maneuverability; therefore the fighter should be escorted by faster craft
2: Light Bomber: Photon/Quantum Torpedo pod, which can carry a pair of full sized photon or quantum torpedoes. This has an adverse effect upon the fighters maneuverability and should only be considered when placed in a bomber role
